Some thoughts - Lylaa
I have often thought that authors have the easiest job in the world .
The artwork they make , after all , is just a few lines on a page , usually not even extending margin to margin -
How long would that take to even write poem , about five minutes ?
Maybe ten at the most, if you wanted it to rhyme or have a repeating meter .
For a pieces of story ? tales ? fictional book ? take days maybe , Why ?
I could even start to write in the morning and produce a book of poetry by dinnertime .
I could also start to compose story just as fast as the lightning touch the ground and finish to produce at least a book with 10 chapters in it by the end of the day .
But we all know that it isn’t that easy. Anyone can come up with enough words finishing one piece , but the authors job is about writing the right ones .
The right words and story that will change lives , making people see the world somewhat differently than they saw .
The right words can make a reader who relies on the dictionary for meanings take a greater responsibility for his or her own personal understanding .
A poems or storylines that is put on the page correctly can bear any amount of analysis , probing , defining , explaining , and interrogating , and something about it will still feel new the next time you read it.
It would be fine with me if I could talk about pieces of poetry and a good stories without using the word “magical,” because that word is overused these days to imply “a really good time,” often with a certain sweetness about it, and a lot of that artworks is neither of these .
But if you stop and think about magic - (whether it brings to mind about sorcery, witchcraft, or bunnies pulled from top of the hat) , it always seems to involve reality to produce a result greater than the sum of its parts and pulling out unexpected results in the thin air .
There's few author provides ample cases where a few simple words conjure up the whole world .
Good authors make us think that we are following simple, specific events, but then they leave ideas in our heads that cannot be found on the printed page . Boom ! Magic !
Sometimes when you finish a story or a poem , it doesn’t feel as if it has left any supernatural effect on you, like it did not have any more to say beyond the actual words that it used. This happens to everybody, but most often to inexperienced readers: regardless of what is often said about young people’s infinite capacity to be amazed ,
You have to understand what usually does happen , and what could have happened instead , and what is the meaning behind those words could be , if you are going to be moved by what those artwork has accomplished .
In those cases , when you finish to read pieces with a “So what?” attitude, the information somehow will not comes in hand . You would even probably not understand any of it side story .
Good author gives readers of any age good practice in feeling the ways the story and poems relate to both the reality of the time and place , the reality of our emotions.
Practice is just another word for being a human .
The information given by the artwork of the good author helps you understand the way to read poems and stories with different kind of perspectives ; what to look for, what to expect , what can you get from it , and does it has a value you could keep .
With all of this in mind, I really don’t think I would actually like to have a author job at all. There are too many skills involved, including precision, honesty, taste, courage, linguistics, passion, compassion, and the ability to keep all sorts of people entertained at once.
And that is just what they do with both hand, typing, writing some sort of pieces with a full vision of the world that beyond normal people could handle , in mind while pulling off some trick that most of people will never truly understand thinking ...
: How can they express values behind the story and what they suppose to do to add emotion in the words for people could feel it ?
The splendid and magnificent artwork that has so much meaning in it , only readers that has superior sight and has the ability to see the value behind particular pieces would somehow treasure it for the rest of their life and it is fascinating to see how people get concious about it .
